Jalapeño & Bacon Beans Casserole


• 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

• 1 lb. ground beef

• 1/2 cup chopped onion

• 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1/4 tsp black pepper

• 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

• 2 cans Serious Bean Co. Jalapeño & Bacon Beans

• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350°.
In a skillet, fry bacon until nicely browned and crispy. Remove bacon from pan and let it cool on a paper towel. Once cooled, crumble and set aside.
Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper on medium-high heat. Drain.
In a bowl, combine salt, pepper, BBQ sauce and beans.
Pour beef mixture and bean mixture into 1 ½ quart casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle cheese and crumbled bacon. Bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

YIELD: 8-10 servings
