Inspired by our favorite cheese steaks in Philly, we bring you our most valuable bean dip topped with more cheese and tasty caramelized onions. The key is to let the onions cook on a medium to low heat until they reach a deep caramel color. You can also add a tsp of sugar to sweeten them up a bit.
• 1 Can Serious Bean Co. Buckin' Buffalo Beans
• 4oz. cream cheese
• 1 yellow onion, diced
• 1 green bell pepper, sliced for dipping
• shredded provolone cheese
Heat buffalo beans for about 2mins in a microwave, and add to food processor or blender with 4oz. cream cheese. Blend until smooth.
Heat pan with oil and add onions. Cook until caramelized.
Transfer dip to large bowl and top with caramelized onions and shredded cheese.
